Personal Training Terms and Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all personal training services provided by Vicki Horner ("the Trainer"). By booking and participating in any personal training session, the client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Health and Medical Conditions

The client is responsible for informing the Trainer of any medical conditions, injuries, illnesses, medications, or other health concerns that may affect their ability to exercise safely.

The client confirms that they are physically capable of participating in exercise and will seek medical advice before commencing any exercise programme if they have any concerns regarding their health.

3. Exercise at Your Own Risk

The client understands that participation in physical exercise and fitness activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or adverse health effects.

All exercise sessions, programmes, advice, and recommendations are undertaken entirely at the client's own risk. The Trainer shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or health complication sustained by the client except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

The client agrees to immediately stop exercising and inform the Trainer if they experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, or any other adverse symptoms during a session.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for all personal training services must be made in full before any session, programme, consultation, or service is undertaken.

Sessions will not be delivered unless payment has been received and cleared.

All payments are non-refundable except where required by law or at the Trainer's sole discretion.

5. Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a booked session.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full session rate.

Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice ("no-show") will result in the session being forfeited and charged in full.

The Trainer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond their reasonable control. In such cases, an alternative appointment will be offered.

6. Late Arrivals

If the client arrives late, the session will finish at the scheduled time and may be shortened accordingly.

If the Trainer is late, the lost time will be added to the session or rearranged at a mutually convenient time.

7. Packages and Expiry

Where sessions are purchased as part of a package, all sessions must be used within the validity period specified at the time of purchase.

Unused sessions remaining after the expiry date may be forfeited unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Client Conduct

The client agrees to behave respectfully and appropriately during all sessions.

The Trainer reserves the right to terminate a session or cease providing services if the client's behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate.

9. Personal Data

Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and used solely for the purposes of providing personal training services. See our Privacy Policy for further detail.

10. Amendments

The Trainer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be made available to clients and will apply to all future bookings.

11. Acceptance

By booking and attending personal training sessions, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
